Now the temp has plummeted! Humidity is too high. I thought it would be difficult to get it up to 65%! NOT SO!! I can't get the temp to start going up again! Those poor little chicks are depending on incompetent ME!!

A friend of mine's chickens were having issues with bumblefoot and the vet did the surgery for her but suggested soaking the foot for 5 minutes a day in Tricide-Neo powder for fish. IT WORKED!!!! No surgery was needed for the other bird. Just thought I would pass along the great news.

Edited to add that the vet said it was important not to get the solution on yourself. Idk why but there ya go.

Love your writing style. Not too excited about snakes on my end, but can feel your joy. I am glad you have happy news about keeping your dear pet.

Nessa - Thank you for this tip. Nice to hear from you. How's your hubby's hand? Are you still walking?

Awww thanks! I come here everyday and read but I have been so busy lately with all the changes going on in our lives that I just read and run off. Hubby's hand healed up nicely although he can't extend it completely (almost though). He stretches it everyday and each day it gets better and better. I am still walking and we have committed ourselves to going back to church as well. We sold our second trailer (thank the Lord) and have been super busy with moving everything and getting rid of junk. Together my hubby and I decided that if it wasn't tied down and we didn't make it in 3rd grade IT'S OUTTA HERE!!! It is very freeing to throw out the old and have alot less clutter and projects everywhere. So as for today, Life is good and people are still crazy but I am lovin' it
