Im so glad we have this forum AZ Chickens to communication with other folks in our state. But Why dont they have a state by state For Sale set up so we dont have to sit for hours looking through all the ads that arent even near us . It would make it so much easier if they had the sales set up that way . JUST SAYIN

Today is day two of White Tips bumblefoot recovery attempt. I have her in salt soaks, penicillin shots, and neosporin smothered all over the infected area. She is living in my bathroom right now, where the stone tiling in my walk in shower is cool to her feet. It seems to be going well! Her swollen foot (both have that dreaded black spot on the underside of the foot, but only one foot is swollen and hot) is not as hot to the touch today. She is not limping as badly today. She is not panting as much today, actually, she has stopped panting. Seems to be working!



The all natural stone tile feels good on her feet. Nice and cool. Do you like her fancy bandaging? I think she likes it

We had a white rock with bumble foot on both feet once. We would tear it open, squeeze the puss out put on a little neosporin, then mix iodine and sugar, but that on it and then wrap it up. We usually only unwrapped it every 2 to 3 days and it was usually better in about 2 weeks.
