We are going out of town for a couple of days in 2 weeks and need to downsize the flock for the chicken sitter. Anyone interested in a blue Marans roo, CC/ Golden CC Marans roo and maybe some older free loading hens? Ya I didn't think so.

Again a lot of losses happening in the thread! One of my young turkey toms decided to fly down into the dog yard. Dumb bird!

You can guess what happened. It was one of my Royal Palms.
Hubby and I cut the wing feathers on the last 3 young ones. Not a fun job when they are 5-6 months old and don't want it done! I so enjoyed seeing them do their short flights!

Just got my Backyard Poultry magazine today and saw BlueBelle in it.

That is insane! It makes you wonder what the back story was. Then you have to wonder what actually happened to them all. And why did someone flag the ad? It's all so mysterious.

Oh wait, mystery solved thanks to google. Someone is apparently mad at Big Two Mitsubishi in Mesa. There never were any chickens. Pretty awesome prank though.

Just got my Backyard Poultry magazine today and saw BlueBelle in it.

Yup it was my Blue Bell.

I had even posted about it. I had asked for help about a issue and nobody commented. I figured it out myself.I have been feeling a bit invisible lately.

You are welcome. I just got my first issue in the mail and I checked for Blue Bell. After you mentioned that she was famous, I ordered the magazine and got some back issues as well. Hard to find poultry magazines in the stores.
