Both of our boys are now in sports.. Plus school, (done for a few weeks) dec 15.
Work & holiday, family.. Blablabla... I have missed BYC!!
Keep your eyes posted for a party here soon.. We will have a roasted
marshmallow's out front by the fire..
 
Wondering if any of you might know.... A few years ago I answered a CL ad for chicks. Went way over around Casa Grande out in the desert (have no clue now where it was exactly) to buy some Buff Orpingtons. The lady had tons of birds of all kinds, besides the usual breeds of poultry and waterfowl she also had some different kinds of pheasants; really beautiful birds. But her Buffs were HUGE. Beautiful beautiful big round fluff balls. She had a whole room in her trailer full of incubators and little brooders. I bought some BO chicks from her. A few months later a pack of dogs wiped me out.

I don't remember her name but thinking maybe if she's still around someone here might know who she is? I'd like to get more buffs from her. Thanks.
 
Chicks around tucson? or hens? pullets? Interested in reasonable prices... theres not a whole lot of chicken buzz this time of year

Oh my, I'm so glad you confessed before I did...I was thinking about a trained, territorial killer bat like those who use LGD on big properties.

It's a good thing that I didn't have a drink in my mouth at the time reading that, or I would have sprayed the monitor and shorted my keyboard.

I love bats, the ones in caves..
My dearest friend, here in our neighborhood
has a bat home on the side of her house.
Not occupied since they put it up..
However I am thinking of putting some up on
my neighbors house(rental)= it would be ok,
So that I could see them come and go from
the east side of our house... Again just a thought
& another "on the list of things to do!!"
How fun would that be...
However it would be really close to the girls & kent..
Like 15/20 feet from where they live.. Give or take
a few feet.. Plus I have no idea about bats..
Only that some carry rabies..
Never mind. Just with that said..
 
We used to have a huge colony that lived in a neighbor's HUGE!!! tree. Unfortunately the tree started dying and they cut it down.
