Finally planting the rest of the garden today. I hope Baker's has some starts that I want.
Look like chicken math has set in. Cute little ones. We've named the three Black Copper Maran chicks that we got from DesertMarci. Larger on the Left: Colonel Mustard, Larger on the Right: Curious Georgina, Smallest: Ninja. Ninja is just lightning fast. For such a small thing, she sure can run. Georgina has more of a yellow comb, so my wife immediately thought of Curious George. Hopefully, they are all girls, but if any are going to be roos, I hope it's this one. 'Course, their combs will change colors to the red, but whatever. The names are more to appease the wife. I can't even tell who is Christine and who is Sleepy, the two Barred Rocks we have. They are getting massive, though. There's no starving on their parts. Now, if they'd just start laying already!
I missed getting the video, but one of the new BCMs was jumping up about three feet in the air just flapping her wings, like she was trying to fly. Nobody else was around her, so it wasn't a dominance thing. My phone's battery was already at 1%, so the camera wouldn't activate. I'm sure she'll do it again, though!
