Arizona Chickens

Everyone is so quiet in here.
There's another forum I spend a lot fo time on and one of the threads is so fast paced that if you miss a day, you can be hundreds of posts behind. It is over 1.5mil posts. It got so huge it was interfering with the entire forum and it's search functions. The admin had to limit it to 15k posts per thread, then we lock it down and start another. The funny part, it is only about 20 of us that participate and it is like our own long running blog. We call it The Ultimate Thread or TUT for short. We have stickers, hats and tshirts and stuff and many of us have gotten together at least once a year to spend time together.
I find this thread similar to TUT only far slower paced and more centered on chickens rather than on just random stuff. I enjoy this thread though. Everyone in here seems like good folk.  cheers!

I try not to post to much. I have a lot to say, to much, I can find something to comment on even if I have nothing to add. I've been trying to correct that. But, I often fail and say nothing about something I know nothing about wishing I knew something to say, and say it anyway.

Inanity at it's best. I love it.

Sounds like he may be referring to Deviant Dales by Oskar Blues Brewing. Very good beer.  I'm a major beer geek. :yesss:
I'm a beer geek too...i don't home brew yet. I just finished off some Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout Nitro, working on some Ranger IPA right now. You mentioned Kona Brewing, I was stationed in Hawaii while in the USMC and "fresh" Kona was always good! I have a friend that home brews that makes a tasty 8.0 IPA.

I have a couple threads that I follow that easily put me tons of posts behind if I don't check it every day... this thread is one of the slower ones, but if everyone else is like me, we are outside a lot enjoying our awesome Arizona weather and chickens!! A good majority of people who post on some of the other threads that I follow are stuck inside in front of their computers due to cold & snow envying us.

Today, we dug a big hole to put our duck pool in the ground so they could get in and out on their own. Digging holes is no fun but it's done! Also got some stuff planted and took all the babies outside for some sunshine and fresh air since it was warm enough.

For some reason, many of the ales I make end up around 8%

Sad sad day for the flock..... I was in charge of Dying eggs this year and it all went well. Once we finished i left it to the 4 year old brother of mine to go dump out the dye. Well he came running inside screaming his little head off! So i walked out and found that the beautiful white silkie of mine thought that he had food in the cup and ran at him, which scared him. Now i have a very unhappy blue butt silkie. hahahaha
