They really seem to love it and I love that they are getting additional nutrients. I also still add fresh herbs to the nesting boxesand coop as well.

I thought that too. But I was politely correctly last night at the Urban Ag meeting
see this is the problem or one of the problems with the current laws they are confusing and not clear on their intent. I think if someone had to they could argue it in court that it reads like if we are raising for breeding purposes then we can sell any number of animals.

[/C thank you for sharing that. I've been giving my girls an assortment of those but now I can kind of specialize the selection. Lol

Little Chiecken, I was VERY frustrated last night. I just want a dozen chickens and maybe 5 or 7 breeding rabbits. When my chickens stop laying, I would like to replace them with chicks. When the chicks are old enough to lay, off go the old girls into a stew pot.
As for the rabbits, I would like to breed two at a time, so I will always have some in the oven, some on the ground, and some in the freezer. I'm not interested in selling chicks or rabbits, but if it meant I had to operate a small business, I'd jump thru that hoop to attain sustainability.

@a little chicken,
VPA;Valley permacultur alliance.they host a lot of fun interesting and different classes. Go online to check them out. One of them is Tour de coop. you sign up, go into people's homes that have chickens and their wonderful coops.

most of the people that have planted the moringa tree, have done in the ground and had success. I didn't pot and had no success. @Sill said she has success from a pot to ground. .

I kind of use a combination of these. I already have a bit of slope, so I have good drainage, with a deep litter of compost and pine shavings. Since my run is roofed over, I get some of those cheap Harbor Freight tarps and staple them to the inside of the rafters. I can live with the humidity, but all the rain is going in the neighbors yard!
HA! BRING IT ON!
I wish we had big enough water containers to collect all that rain water. For later use on our trees.

City Farm, I tried using 55 gal trash cans to catch rain water off my roof. They were overflowing in no time at all. I think I will invest in a water tote. SO MUCH water sheets off my roof I hyperventilate thinking about the waste. Lol.
