did you mean to say you wondered if the cat food is worth it if your cats are spayed? Or are you meaning to be funny??

the post said it checked for proof of spay for cat food and sometime has chicken food. was thinking i would have to show proof for them as well.

This is what I'm thinking when I eventually get a kitten. I'm attempting to feed this feral one little bits to keep it around. When we get our homestead we'll start a little kitten with young-er gentler chickens.

Great , just great! LOL. Is sometime wrong with her/his eyes, or is it just the flash? We rent, and we have an awesome landlady, but if we have to move, I think it's going to be difficult to find a rental for all my creatures. I think I should stick to one cat (two dogs, three hamsters, two rabbits, ever-increasing numbers of chickens ...)

I'm very curious to see what you get! Don't forget pictures!
My daughter and I candled last night (day 11). We took out 5 that had obviously done nothing, left in 3 that didn't look right but had at least done something, and saw 4 definite chicks!
I will be so happy if all 4 hatch! It's amazing that they are doing anything with the handling these eggs must get.

like I said before I didn't candle because don't really know what I'm looking at (yet) BUT my DH talked me into putting the full dozen under her - she has 11 because I broke one when I moved them (yes I cried) so I figured I'd let them go until Friday probably Saturday before pulling the eggs - I think that is long enough as Wednesday is day 21. If I get 4 babies I will consider this a success! Probably if I get anything I'll be crazy happy

These are all rescues. actually all 8 of my cats are rescues. I have even had a cat come in my doggy door and have kittens when I was not home. I dont know who she belonged to but I am almost positive she was dumped for being prego. she went to a nice lady to be a barn cat and she got one of her kittens as well (after they were fixed).

We have paid to have all of them spayed/neutered (all of the ones we could catch). I don't mind doing it, I want them to be safe, happy and healthy.
