LOL! Leg bands and wing tags go a long way toward resolving those identity issues, even in the dark. Assuming you are using a head lamp. It is hard to hold a chicken and a flashlight and read a band number without an assistant. But it's not too bad with a headlamp

Why is it that leg bands are totally visible when you don't need to read them, but when you need to find one particular bird in the dark, every bird squats down and hides their legs? I don't get it. How do they know?

well here she is in all of her rebuilt glory. I am moving it into place and going to start testing on temperature as soon as my new thermometer comes! Gonna have to start figuring out egg supply to do a test hatch once I have completed temp setting testing!

I fed my new hatchlings meal worms for the first time today. OMG! They went crazy for them! it was beyond entertaining! (And don't worry...I'm supplying them with chick grit as well.)

Looks great! :thumbsup that was so fast.. What do you want to hatch? Egg color or breed??

I'm gonna have to let my birds get to work on the compost, seems easier than me going out turning it! Or do you still turn it often? I turn mine every other day.
I still turn the all the compost once a week. The chickens only get the top 8 inches, but they sure have fun doing it. These are the first compost bins I've not had a problem with roaches in. The girls eat all the bugs they can find and at least one is working in the compost bins any time I venture out to see. Sometimes they are all in there and when they hear me I just see heads popping up over the bins to see if I brought them something better than compost. I think they even eat the finished compost, as well as any bugs they find.

See what I has been done for my ChiCk this weekend, My chick very happy at the first time i release them to the tractor, it run and jump, seem like they have their own playground. I wil get 4 more Silver Laced Wyandottes.

How fun! You can tell they are enjoying all that space.

Do you guy feed your chick with green grass?

My house doesn't has any green grass, I tell my wife get some vegetable from store give it to them.
I am thinking about to grow some wheat grass for them.
Please give me some Idea.
Like @DesertChic said sprouting seeds is a good way to get the greens they crave. This time of year weeds are abundant. I scour my alley, the neighbors' yards, anyplace that might have unsprayed weeds. I pull them up and give the chickens the entire plant, they even pick at the roots. Most weeds are very nutritious and are eaten quickly.
