No you misunderstood he hatched eggs from his giants, Ams and giant x leghorns in the same incubator with silkie eggs, at the time i had 1 roo in with five hens but only took eggs from 1 (the only one with the traits i wanted), now i have 1 LF ameraucana, 1 over sized(too big for bantam too small for LF) silkie rooster, and one bantam silkie rooster over 1 wyandotte hen, 1 cornish bantam, 1 lf easter egger with silkie background, and 2 bantam silkies. in another pen i have a trio of bantam rocks (my great grandpa hatched them last spring) i also have a cochin pair in another pen but i suspect the hen is too old to lay. And this time arround i get to operate the incubator, he had a good hatch rate with his but none of mine hatched

How many Roos to hen's? A jersey giant is to large to mount a silkie..in my opion

The bike is in serious need of a new rear tire which is not in the current budget, so it's in suspended animation out in the shed. The budget right now is supposed to be going for chicken housing, but I seem to get fiscally sidetracked pretty easily. Planned on going to the Tucson Gem Show this weekend, but the paycheck is already history, so its home projects tomorrow, and planting some trees.
So, how you been doing?

The jungle fowl is drinking water from the bird bath, the splash Wheaten Amerucana is wondering what the duck's are doing and Burt our isbar rooster thinks he is the man.. However the 2 jungle fowl are making such a mess in my poted plant's I can not keep up on it..

My ameraucana roo is a wheaten but instead of having the gold gene he has the mahogony gene, so should i call him a red wheaten or...?

My cat is sick today. I have no idea why. He's throwing up occasionally and doesn't feel good. He's currently hiding in his favorite sleeping spot. (He's an indoor cat) I hope he didn't eat something bad for him. The only thing I have in the house are roach traps. Perhaps he caught a poisoned roach and ate it? He sure does love to eat bugs. I checked my kids chocolate and none of that looks tampered with. Ugh, I hope he's okay.

Well it's nice weather for it now so get moving. Lol. I've just been doing the same old thing. It's not working out for us here so we're moving on to the next adventure. Took all my chickens to the neighbors last night so I'm a little bummed today.

Well, I put up new lights in the master bath and kitchen today, still haven't done any planting. With all the contortions I had to go through to get the wiring in, planting ain't gonna happen today!

No, sometimes it happens. I would only worry if she is not acting or looking normal.
