No you misunderstood he hatched eggs from his giants, Ams and giant x leghorns in the same incubator with silkie eggs, at the time i had 1 roo in with five hens but only took eggs from 1 (the only one with the traits i wanted), now i have 1 LF ameraucana, 1 over sized(too big for bantam too small for LF) silkie rooster, and one bantam silkie rooster over 1 wyandotte hen, 1 cornish bantam, 1 lf easter egger with silkie background, and 2 bantam silkies. in another pen i have a trio of bantam rocks (my great grandpa hatched them last spring) i also have a cochin pair in another pen but i suspect the hen is too old to lay. And this time arround i get to operate the incubator, he had a good hatch rate with his but none of mine hatched
How many Roos to hen's? A jersey giant is to large to mount a silkie..in my opion
