Arizona Chickens

No problem! I do believe it was http://www.shininghillsneos.com but I would still Google and search around for other breeders

I just looked at their site, and puppies start at $2500 and go up, and you have to pay a $500+ deposite. That's too much for me!

Oh man, that is crazy!
I've seen some on local pet groups and farm groups, obviously not all of them are reliable breeders but it be worth a shot to check you your local groups

I'm constantly checking craigslist, but there is an any good listings up. One of my for a good friends has some puppies for sale that are some type a mastiff. I'm going to get a hold of them tomorrow and see exactly what breed and how much they want. Wish me luck!

Try a shelter ^^

You may not get a full matstiff, but they are a big dog and people tend to be scared of them or cant keep them or abandon them to avoid responsibility. Its possible you could find a potent mix.

Not to mention, Hundred of thousands of dogs every yer are saved from Puppy mills One just got closed down in Pheonix I wana say a year or two ago and they are still finding more around AZ as it is.

There are a butt ton of dogs that could use a forever home at one of these shelters, AND adoption fees are silly cheap WITH ID and spy/neuter.

Just a recomendation, It's where I will be going or when I adopt a puppy here in a year.

Hello to my fellow Arizonians. We live just south of Sedona in The Village of Oak Creek. Two years ago we started remodeling a former chainlink 10 x 20 dog run. Thanks to websites and suggestions from Backyard Chicken subscribers the run an interior coop has been completed. Additionally a 10 X 14 shed was constructed to house tools and feed. Our occupants will arrive on April 17th via mail order from My Pet Chicken. We will continue to peruse your posts to educate ourselves. Our concerns as expressed by other Arizonoans is the heat and in our case sub freezing temps in the winter.

Does anyone know of an ACE hardware in Tucson that is selling baby chickens as of now or very soon?

The itch is unbearable, I need babies XD

(Besides I just got an outdoor brooder, how can I resist the available empty space??)

Well played Stromberg!

I guess I know where I would order my nest batch <3

(My boys are turning out to be kinda aggressive breeders and I dont wanna subject any hen to that. Hopign to order this time next year.)

Ideal does pretty good too-they supply some of the feed stores.

It might be their age & inexperience. Plus need more girls. The boys I've got the same age are still getting the hang of it. I need to thin & get more girls!
