Is anybody in getting HEAVY rain and lightning? It's CRAZY over here in Queen Creek!!!! My dog is in bed shaking with fear.

Nothing yet over here by me yet. We do need rain though.

Currently a mixed flock of mostly EE with some brown egg layers mixed in and a very few leghorns and my son has silkies. I also have Muscovy ducks and emu. We hope to add geese back next year.

We are outside Casa Grande/Eloy and we got heavy rain, thunder, lightning - the works. Doesn't bother either my dog or my chickens. There is a homeopathic called Rescue Remedy which will help your dog. You can get it in many places - I think I even saw it on the shelf at Walmart. AND its good for people too. Try it - monsoons come and go until end of August mid-Sept so that poor baby is going to be a mess by the end of the season.

I'm enjoying the cooling off every evening lately with clouds and wind, only a bit of rain came

This morning i can say felt cool at around 79 F and not having to see my chickens panting a lot before bed is great too!

August is usually the flood time for monsoon
