Arizona Chickens

Before you volunteer.. Do you know where BlueBaby is?
Down near Ak Chin, the Maricopa Casino...
If you're near there, and heading towards Phoenix, I could meet you at AZ Mills shopping center.. I "think" you have to go by it to get to 7th st in Phoenix
But I want to make sure it is just a superficial deformity, not a life impairment... I can't have another ILean.
I can maybe pick it up and bring it to south 7th street.

Yes I bought a pullet from BlueBaby. I work at s 7th st. I could pick it up on my way to work. Or pick it up after work and bring it with me to work the next day.
Thank you Michelle
Can you tell me about the curled toes baby? Are curled toes a lifelong problem? or just one to avoid breeding?
I can handle something that looks a little off? but not something like Ilean that has to be kept separate to protect...
Five is no longer sitting on the last egg.

@nicollee this is what I found online, it was my initial thought..

Dehydration and poor circulation may cause a chicken comb that normally stands erect to flop over, though some chickens have grown too tall a comb or it’s been damaged and is unable to stay erect.

I'm thinking dehydration bc of her bout with broodiness or circulation maybe administer nite I drench or a vitamin slash electrolytes I know you were planning on :)

You guys are awesome to offer a home to a chick that has a deformity. Hopefully it's nothing major. My Australorp arrived with a slight scissor beak, nothing severe but I knew I could complain and get a refund/replacement if I wanted to. I don't breed either so we just went with the flow and she totally outgrew it in a year! And I'm so glad I have her because she really is the sweetest thing. Hopefully the toe curl is something that can be alieviated. I'll look in my chicken book tonight and see if there's anything about fixing that.
