I woke up at 2300 last night. Heard a rumble of thunder, then we had a little hail, then we had rain.

We had a little rain last night, but not so bad. We had to shut off the air-condition cooling last night and just run the fan in it, because the unit froze into ice? Had to try to find someone to fix it today.

Repair man just showed up about 5 minutes ago.

They got the unit going again. The motor went out, but they put in a replacement. The dog and 4 chicks are ok. I'm just sitting here enjoying having the coolness back, and trying to keep from dozing off.

The air-conditioner is still out and we are running fans only. Glad it's not 118-F today!

Let me know if you cant get it fixed today, normal issue is air restriction. Check the filter and the area around the coils that froze over. If you have a trailer style A/C then check the Triangle for fur/dirt or if the insulation on the sides moves. Ive seen a few where the insulation was stuck to one side and it would freeze over.

Well guess it would have been better had I noticed that I was missing the last page of posts LOL. Glad to hear you got it going again. So the blower motor went out ?
