Arizona Chickens

I'd be overwhelmed with chickens then as it is I have 3 separate cages 1/4acre of a run to maintain :D
I love them but 27 is enough for me right now I guess I could sell some as hatching eggs

I have pure EE eggs, and pure Buff Orpington and both are good roosters so if someone got a rooster they would want to keep they would have a good chance that it's a good kind rooster since attitude for the most part is hereditary :thumbsup

I'd hold off on hatching the ee's still they've only been laying for 2 months so they wouldn't make good chicks yet plus I still get several double yolkers from them

My Buff Callie on the other hand is laying beautiful large eggs!

Plus all the Buffs are healthy, have great immune systems and have never gotten ill, the ones I have now that is :D

Yes, you could sell some as hatching eggs. Some people look for the EE's, or Buff Orp's. That way they could buy them from you if they are looking for those breeds that you have. I sell my hatching eggs for $1.00 each, or $10.00 for the dozen, for pick up only.

I would say it was a couple weeks before I could breathe comfortably and a month before I could really move well. How long has it been?
well its been about 13 or 14 days , and I can breath better as of today .!:clap:ya and thank goodness for that:wee , so i still need my hired man do most of the work for me, until I can get back to work, and its been expensive to say the least, Thanks for your help,:woot at least I have a good idea of how long , i can expect this healing should take.

Now, that would be hard to tell, unless you actually hatched them out yourself to know.

True, but it's something I like to think, first they were inseparable, they had the same colored feathers, pattern, the only way to tell them apart was the crest but then cleo started growing bigger, and piña stsyed small, and they are both clean faced

Anyhow that may have nothing to do with it, but I like to call them the twins bc according to human twin traits they were identical :thumbsup

@meetthebubus I agree - its wonderful to attach humanisms (new word ?) to our feathered (and fur) babies. I do it all the time. That's what makes them more pets than food. Our babies - Onsie and Twosie (yep hatched 1 and 2) were only babies and they are forever together - don't look alike but we still call them the babies - probably will until something new comes along. They are 12 weeks old! Onsie is still always looking for a wing to get her head under!

@Lrosell31 good luck with your search :) if you can't find anything local you might want to check out MyPetChicken.com. I was also very worried about shipping day old chicks, but at that time I didn't know anyone in AZ or my area with chicks. I also wanted them to be sexed accurately (only females) and the feed stores are not the best at that. I had a bad experience with a craigslist purchase before, the chicks ended up being mostly roosters and I had to get rid of them, which was really difficult. So I tried MyPetChicken and I was really happy with the results. They are good at communicating with you and answering questions. All ten of my chicks survived and are still alive and healthy today. They were sexed 100% accurately. I had them shipped the first week of June, and the post office called as soon as they arrived. I'm sure it is definitely stressful for them, and I don't know that I would do it again since I now have connections with hatch-a-holics like @BlueBaby! But I would check them out, especially for breed specific orders.
This is good to hear! My chicks are coming from MPC. I wanted specific breeds, only pullets, and didn't know where to find them locally. So, to online hatcheries I went.

When I see your EE's It kind of reminds me of the 3 that I had. Last one lived 11 years. Probably could have gone longer if not due to predator. :hit
Here is a pix of her at about 10 years. Named Delilah.
