Arizona Chickens

He's still not healed up yet? I suppose they do take a while to heal. I bet he's cooler in the house anyway.

Sometimes he put's that leg down to walk, and sometimes he keeps it off the ground (especially when he tries to run). He's keeping his eye on a lizard right now that he spotted on the back porch.

Anyone interested in makeup?

I've gotten into it again for when I leave the ranch it has been horrible finding a shade to match bc of my tan for being out all the time lol

After many swatches and 2 failed buys I found my brand and shade of foundation and it's holding up even after being outside with my bubus

If you are trying to colormatch my tip is go to ulta, not Sephora bc ulta has better lighting so you can see what u are doing lol

Not me. I haven't worn any makeup in years.

Not me either. IF and that is a big IF I do wear something it is usually just mascara and a bit of eyeliner sometimes at night (not often these days!) a bit of shadow and lipstick. In fact I haven't wore foundation for 14 or so years. Last time was at my son's wedding and not much before that! I love nicely, naturally applied on others but just not me.

I used to be a makeup consultant at ulta!! They trained us very well. I really miss all of the fun samples we used to get for free. Should have stayed in that field and not gotten into teaching lol
What brand did you end up going with? I love bare minerals even though it can be pricey. Loreal is comparable quality and much cheaper.

Makes sense, makeup is much different lately sometimes a cc cream is always nice for an even complexion with spf too many choices though lol

Oh cool! An ULTA alum :) well the brand that worked for me was Urban Decay
I first bought Becca, didnt work at all for me they are all too yellow toned, than I went to Too Faced which was a better color but melts off too fast I swabbed Clinique and Fenty but couldn't get a match
I am really happy with Urban so far I went out to work with the chickens and it didn't come off! 10 hours of coverage until a touch up is needed :)

I haven't worn makeup in years either. I feel like foundation suffocates me and I'm allergic to a lot of stuff so it was always risky to change anything. I gave up.
I used to feel that way, my daughter got me back into it, my face gets pretty red bc of the sun lol
