Arizona Chickens

I have 3 Appenzeller Spitzhauben roosters that need new homes. They were hatched in April. They are very healthy, I just have too many. We are in Bisbee. They are $15 each, or best offer. Please let me know by personal message if you are interested. Have a good day, it's beautiful outside!

I will upload photos of them as soon as I can find my memory card...

Too bad there's no hen to be able to breed more
From Switzerland said to be heat tolerant hates confinement, pretty birds but it's hard to even give away roos.... hope they find a home

So I have to girls laying which I never had before and it hysterical watching them fight and complain over a spot to lay their egg. Noisier than the roosters.

Haha what a wonderful first experience i used to think something was wrong until I got used to the noise, wait till the roo joins into their song they really cause a ruckess together crying lol

I have a son whose bd is the 21st Dec. We always had his bd before putting the tree up. The tree trimming became a part of his bd celebration so I'm kinda at the point that we don't do a tree (unless we have family coming) until the 21st. Other things get done, like cookies, fudge some inside outside decorating but the tree waits until the 21st. Outside I have a horseshoe tree that is about 4ft tall that I decorate and put on our porch. I also have some horseshoe reindeer that go with it. That usually goes up right after Thanksgiving.

You are very right about not being able to even give away the roo's for free. Nobody ever want's a roo unless they are looking to breed, and then there has to be hen's in that deal also.

Yeah, for new blood I'd take your yard roosters @BlueBaby but personally I'm not looking for more :)

I'm not sure yet if they are still even out there or not this morning. I went to bed early last night and slept for 10 1/2 hours. Just got up a bit ago, and drinking my coffee to wake up. The 2 roo's were roosting on top of the run last night when I got home.
