Arizona Chickens

You mean some of those people that think that we should eat fruit an veggie's instead of meat? Why would they kill them by fire then? An animals rights group would want the animals to live wouldn't they?
Some of the animal activist would see the loss of the animals as a way to make a point, their point would be that if they were not kept like they were, then this would never have happened, the animals would be just collateral damage. Kinda like the people who go to labs and such and just turn chimps and other animals loose, without the thought of how they will survive, is it right they are being used for testing? no it isn't, but is it right to turn them loose into a environment that they have no idea of how to survive?

I see your point, and it's so sad that some think that they have to be like that.

It is sad, currently involved in something that for me is stupid, a group of people helped to clean up a woman's property that had passed away suddenly, the kids were dealing with her passing and then their father followed a couple of months later, we'd all figured he would have been the first to go, our county provided dump passes for this group of people as they use their time, equipment and money to go into the desert and clean up the mess idiots make, this lady assumes she's doing the right thing by complaining about them using "taxpayer" money to do this.. she's basically gotten the group who volunteers shut down.. This is one of those instances, that you just keep your mouth shut and let it go, but she wanted to get a win against the Board Of Supervisors.. I hope that her allegations are proven wrong.

Finally took a tape to the feathered heathens new abode.. they have 192 sq ft in the new coop, along with what is considered 3 runs.. the original, the extension and then the new run.. for a total of 865 sq ft.. Teased my husband that according to the standard sizes, we could have 48 in the coop and 86 in the run..lol. I don't want a flock that size.

Did you also hear - released yesterday by the USDA agency - Virulent Newcastle disease is in Coconino County - no bueno
"
WASHINGTON — The United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) confirmed the presence of virulent Newcastle disease in a small flock of pet chickens in Coconino County, Arizona. This is the first case of virulent Newcastle disease in Arizona.
This case is believed to be connected to the current outbreak of virulent Newcastle disease in California, as tests show the virus is almost identical to the virus causing disease in California. Since May 2018, more than 400 cases of Newcastle disease have been confirmed as part of this southern California outbreak, primarily in backyard exhibition birds."""

So, it seem's like it is being spread here to AZ. through those Poultry show's that people are taking their chicken's to. @Michelle Guynn need's to know about this.

Many of them also believe that there should be no domestic animals at all. Only wild ones. And any animal that's domesticated enough to not be able to live in the wild should not exist. They see killing them as merciful to man-made abominations.
Just google "PETA Kills".

And I bet those same people own a dog or a cat. I heard about PETA killing animal's before. I have no time for them, and I never will donate to that outfit's "cause".
