@cactusrota here's the 2 biggest boys this morning. Would you still say the blue boy is the keeper? If so, why him and not the white one?

@igorsMistress I thought that you were going to be eating all of your boy's.

Not all, I'm hanging on to at least 1 of them. What if the roos from the straight run aren't what I'm looking for but I get good pullets? Don't want to put all my eggs in one basket so to speak...or I could decide to order only female chicks, hubs talked about that option last night...there are 2 good sized girls in this lot, 2 that are ok size, and 2 that are rather smallish.

Ok. I think that @Parront is going to be eating any extra boy's that I get from this next hatch of shipped egg's from out of state in the east that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.

Honestly... Whenever I get one like that he always turns out to be a gentle giant and really good to the girls. I like a calm, happy flock. :)

I do too. He's really chill. The white guy went and coaxed one of the pullets out of the coop this morning. The blue boy wanted to but the white one is in charge. Blue it is then, hubs will be happy. He likes him too.
Thanks!

I would have picked the blue one to keep, also. Good luck!
