Arizona Chickens

I have been wondering how @DesertChic has been doing also. I did hear from @Diannastarr in an email on July 26th, and she mentioned that she's still having problems with the computer or internet as usual.
hi BB & ALL im ok but still having lots of on line problem's plus the pc its not working right so I changed all my on line & etc companies , so its been crazy , maybe its all due to mercury in retrograde..? but I am on line now thank goodness for that at least ....lol... I hope every one is well & happy, we got lots of rain , every thing is very green, my vegie garden is looking good, ill be back so talk then take care all :frow:highfive::thumbsup:) :woot

Hello all! I am new to raising chickens and have learned a lot over the past 2 months. I live in Tucson, NE side. I have 10 chicks at present, 5 Polish and 5 barred rock cross with EE (they are all barred in color like their Roo dad!). This week the polish are 11 weeks old and the BR are 8 weeks. I have determined that I have 6 cockerels and only 4 pullets. I can’t keep the boys so they will be culled when they are a bit bigger. Right now they are around 2 lbs so not much meat.
I just wanted to say hi and I am happy to see there are so many Arizonan on this site.

Hello, and welcome to our states thread! I'm glad that you found your way over here to chat with us! Even if you were to keep a roo, that's way too many roo's for the amount of hen's that you have. Good luck with your flock!
