Good, 'cause we are still messing with our coop. Too bad though, I was looking forward to seeing how they grow out after reading all about them!@Parront That's ok. @igorsMistress said that she will take these 2 boy's.

Update on my double yolk egg. Today is day 7 and the double yolk egg appears to have 1 viable chick. I can see the other yolk but no veins so most likely there was only 1 fertilized yolk. The photo shows veins from the yolk near the air sac and a second yolk under the first. When the egg is on its side, the second yolk can be seen but no veins on the lower part of the egg.
Of the 20 eggs I set a week ago I have 17 viable eggs today. My cardboard incubator is working thus far. The humidity is around 40% and the temp is kept between 99.8-101.0. I plan on moving the eggs to my “real” incubator at lockdown so the humidity can be raised.
There are pictures of the incubator with my original post but here are a few new pictures.I'm curious as to this cardboard incubator that you mentioned.

Basically I have a square box inside a rectangular box with insulation between the two boxes. I cut the wall of the smaller box so there is an opening between the 2 boxes. I cut off 3 of the tops and use the 4th as a cover to the “equipment” section. There is a lamp with a 25 watt bulb and it is on a thermostat. The thermometer probe is in a home made water wiggler (zip lock bag of water wrapped around the probe) at the back of the incubator. A small personal fan that has a USB plug to keep it constantly on and the bottom of the equipment section has a tray with a wash cloth for water. I lined the egg section with a recycled feed bag and the eggs are supported in styrofoam egg cartons. I started with paper egg cartons but switched to see if I could get the humidity above 60%. The external thermometer/hygrometer doesn’t seem to get an accurate air temp but the humidity reading is correct. No luck getting the humidity high so I will use my Janol12 incubator for lockdown.
My first batch of eggs are a week along and 17 of the 20 are viable. I think the double yolk egg has one chick growing. I set another 10 eggs yesterday so I will have a hatching on my birthday the 18th and a second hatching on the 25th@Lark60 How's your hatch coming along? I just started lock-down on mine today. They should hatch on Sunday.
