Arizona Chickens

It's a good thing that you have a regular outlet to get rid of your extra boy's. If I had someone like that over here to take mine like that, I'd probably be hatching out more chick's over here. I have 3 boy's over here that will be crowing and trying to mate with the girl's soon. One of those boy's look's like a mini Roger. Then there's a pure white one, and a white one that has a laced shiny green tail.

I prefer heritage meat I live in Chandler can take your unwanted boys, for meat nit keeping them though ....

@Chikibabymom Happy Easter to you also! I have an empty pickle bucket that I keep out by the coop turned upside down until I need it for something. It also come's in handy to sit on, like I did today inside of the coop. I can spend time with them and observe how each of them is doing.

@wolfwalker There was a lady before that was working with making some of the Naked Neck Aloha's. I bet that one is one of those. If you don't want it, I'll take it. ;)

@Macboat I have 3 here now, whenever you want to come and get them. I also have another hatch coming up on Thursday. You'll have to butcher them yourself though.

Good Morning, hope everyone had a Happy Easter, I think that one of my new little silkies were afraid of the thunder last night, he was snuggled up with the teddy bear. Lucky hasn't been near it since I put it in there.

Good luck on your hatch! I love the barnyard mixes.

I did see the moon, we took the dogs for a walk and it was a lovely evening for it.

How are you doing with the stay at home order? My grandkids are going a little stir crazy so we're doing chores today and I promised a nice long bike ride tomorrow as a reward.
We are all doing good. Neighbors are shopping for us. I have been taking our 2 younger German Shepards on bike rides more since my bike got fixed, it’s so lovely out.

Oh yes, it's been great to get out and ride. The grandkids and I have been taking one each morning. Calms them down a little bit so they can get their school work done!

Nice that your neighbors are helping out. Ours are too.

Most of my flock are barnyard mixes, I love them, I'm getting ready to add silkies if my hatch happens, along with some Americuna mixes.
It will be nice to see the Americana mixes. Agh, auto correct. You know what Auruecanan, agh to funny the spelling works, then doesn’t. Whatever.
So I did get some older 55 flowering hens from someone. They are from Greenfire farms, at $30.00 a chick. They are auto sexed. I didn’t realize that their eggs were fertile. As I made fried eggs the other day, I saw the white dot, went & put all that I had left in the incubator. I will candle in four more days.
