a good hatch rate, hope that the other 6 hatch for you. my hen's will start or should I say should start their lock down period tomorrow, Red has been pretty much doing that for the past week, haven't seen her off the nest but maybe once in the past week.
lol, I wish it were him.. wouldn't have me so confused.. but I could barely get him out to feed them when I was in a cast with a broken ankle. Where we live I joke about my run growing rocks. I rake the run at least 2x a month generally more. Big Boy is big enough I think to sling a small one when he's doing his I'm a "stud" dance. But that generally doesn't last long enough. I'll take a picture of the next one I find, in the NN coop, the way it's set up, there really shouldn't be anyway for them to get it in there..lolI would suggest you question DH,,, if he is up to some April 1 tricks
There aren't any to my knowledge, Coyotes are the worse that I've seen beyond one hawk, we do have some dogs that get loose from time to time.. But that doesn't last long.. Maybe it's the Roo's trying to drive me crazy, the 3 in the main flock have already been threatened with the stew pot and Charlie might just think it's funny.
