Arizona Chickens

Here to introduce Terrie the (Turken) & Fawn the Easter egger. Made the trip to pick up some girls & probably 2 cockerels from @BlueBaby, will you send me hatch dates for these girls?. Wanted to keep the 4 chicks together & named the black & white turken Clair. She was quick, photo blurry. View attachment 2179970

I sent you the hatch dates in a private message here. You can write them down so you don't forget.

I love the coloring on your little gray one, looks very close to the one's I have, wish mine would hold still long enough to get a decent picture of them..lol.

My birds are growing so nicely.. Minnie is just so sweet and beautiful. Moon Baby and Nala fall asleep the second i start to pet them. The mean mille fleurs got rehomed, Moon baby gas a nasty gash with dried blood and plenty of missing feathers. Everyone is much calmer and content now. Here is picture overload! I tried to get a good group photo, but they had the zoomies!!

They grow so fast.

The Brown Red D'uccle (Minnie Mouse) and the silkies are 6 weeks old now, the white D'Uccle is 5 weeks. The black/ grey silkie seems to stand more upwards and is a bit more dominant (but not mean), the partridge seems smaller and calmer.. is it too soon to have hints of the silkies' sex?

Black Feather in the NN coop has hatched her last egg, she's got 2 babies now, their not NN's as I had to give her eggs out of the main flock since all of her's got broken. :( , Rose has hatched in the main flock and Jill hatched in the NN.. I got Jill from @BlueBaby , when I picked up Charlie, Jill started out with 5 and only ended up with one. Little NN that is going to be white.

Black Feather and Babies, one just hatched last night

Hope everyone is enjoying our break from the heat, while it lasts!

I changed my order for Hoovers. I decided not to get the calico princess, but just 5 each of the midnight majesty marans pullets and sapphire gems pullets, and I added a dozen andalusians, which are only sold as unsexed. I really like the andalusians, they have been doing so well in the heat, and they aren't having any problems with the 4-foot fences (whew!). They should all arrive 9/17, a Thursday.

I'm going to build them a grow-out pen between my existing pen and the house, so it'll be a nice see but not touch setup.
