Your talk of remodeling is motivating me. I need to add a vinyl skirt to the indoor run so they can quit kicking stuff into my living room! Only other remodeling I want to do to my house is to add a hallway closet in a very oversized hallway. I am short closet type storage in this house (linens, vacuums, etc).
 
HELP!!! I have an injured turkey. He was mauled by dogs 9 Jun 2020 . He has lost flight feathers on the right wing, and the left wing is torn, & left body side is down to skin & in a couple of places below skin. I've slavered Corona on all the wounds, then sprayed him with a fly repellent all over him. As of yesterday, 11 Jun, he is eating, drinking, & pooping. I've tried to bind up the wounds, so he won't use the left wing that is torn, but he won't hold still, & the bandage slides elsewhere. Help! As far as I know there are NO Vets in this area who will see fowl. What antibody can I give him? Any household ideas to help him heal? He is isolated & quiet. How can I tell if he has a fever? how do you take a turkey's temperature? I want to do everything in my power to help him make it through this. Again, HELP!

I put neosporin on open wounds. I really can't bandage a bird. Some people use vet wrap, but on a wing I just can't picture it. Eating and pooping are good signs. Try keeping him in a darkened area to keep him quiet.

How can you tell if he has a fever? How do you take a turkey's temperature? What home antibody can I give him if he has a fever?

If he had a problem he would fluff up and not eat. If the wound gets infected it will be red and swolen, maybe warm to the touch, or have puss. There are antibiotics that people use on birds, but I never have. You might try posting that question on the emergencies thread where some folks are more expert on the subject.
