@AngBantamLuv that's a really neat egg holder! I love it.
I got it on Amazon, it was funny because it was over the summer and they kept selling out!! Who would have thought they'd have toilet paper level demand!! 😂 its called an egg skelter. It has a little handle too, so you can transport it around when you're collecting eggs.

I clicked on it to see what brand name it was. I was trying to see how much it cost's, but I didn't see any price on it there though. I hope that it work's good for you. Keep us updated on the hatch. I hope if some chick's hatch that they won't get that marek's too.

I think it's because a lot of people panicked about the plague and got chickens for one reason or another. A lady i know got 30 "to keep the kids entertained during lockdown"
:barnie They've never owned chickens before .

I'm so lucky i got mine when i did.. it didn't even occur to me that people would be wanting chickens.. i happened to be on the hunt for silkies and managed to coincidentally call 10 mins after the shipment arrived. It was at Pratts and the guy said there was actually a line outside the door before they opened each day!!

Those people might be pretty disappointed right now with their first bantam eggs! 😂

Yes, I've heard about people buying up a lot of chick's like that and not knowing what they were doing. Then later they were trying to get rid of them because they decided that chicken raising wasn't for them. Craigslist is still full of people trying to sell their chick's, but they jacked up the selling price too high for the most part.

I was actually sooo happy the family that took the chicks i rehomed already had some older chickens.. not like the guy who said he wanted them for his 3 year old 😑
