Ok everyone, will Santa Rooster be stopping by anyone's flock this year to deliver some gift's for your chicken's? What do you think that he will be bringing for them?

Well, I won‘t have a flock by Christmas. But hopefully, Santa Rooster brings EGGcellent gifts to the rest of your flocks! ✌

I think we will be getting a few new water containers. Tried a new one that has long knobs that snap into place, which is cheap and must be a cheaper plastic. Having ducks, they dirty the water fast so I keep the water up on the hay to the chickens can have fresh water.

Just when I think I have seen it all. Not sure if she is getting picked on when she tries to lay an egg in the nest?

C.C. crawled inside of this feedback to lay her egg, I guess she wants privacy. For her size, she lays gorgeous color & size.

Maybe. Sometime the older girl's don't seem to like the younger layer's in what they seem to perceive as being their private nesting box? That's when you can start finding egg's that have been layed in strange places.

I was outside there earlier cleaning out the grow-out pen and starting to get it ready to move these 10 Aloha chick's out there.

Got those 10 chick's moved outside. They seem to be happy with more room to play in. They found the food and water ok. I put 2 little roosting bar's in the grow-out pen for them.

Yes, greens and a pool for my flock. Mealworms too.

Today he dropped off a big bag of cracked corn for the chickens since they're on the nice list. They will have to wait until Christmas for it.

Hey all, we are trying to down size our flock. I jist posted an ad over on the buy and sell, but i was wondering if such a thing was allowed here as well? We have many healthy wonderful birds available.

I was! We moved down here a few months ago and I brought my birds with me!! I just have to downsize a bit to make my flock and friends flock more manageable.
