I just checked my yard and threw out a few things that could go airborne. Im noticing wild birds getting comfy under the rose bushes. I wonder if they are sensing something is coming. Just lightly breezy here for now.

Luckily here we are in an area that is a little bit less windy than some. I still round up all loose stuff.

Craigslist will be busting with chicks and ducks and rabbits in 8 weeks! As soon as the newness wears off, and lack of planning.

The cute baby stage does not even last that long! My hatch of ducklings will be old enough by then to tell who is a drake, 7 or 8 weeks old is about when they get their adult curly tail. That is a good time to have "Bad Boyz the Next Generation" harvest day.

yes, if I were in a position, I'd be tempted to place an ad on Easter Sunday (maybe the next day) advertising a humane home (wording??) and free pickup service for the unwanted Easter chicks. Imagine the fun you'd have later, guessing the breed & sex, deciding which to keep, etc!
