Arizona Chickens

Great news!!! :celebrate

The two Dorking eggs that I wasn't sure about have more veining, and both of them have tiny babies swimming around! The temp was at 99, so I turned it up just a hair and will check it again in a little bit. I did not recandle the Leghorn eggs because those showed veining last time, and I didn't want to leave the cover off for too long.

Wow, their price went down, used to be $15! I used a bungee cord once to fasten one of those to the top of my kennel-based poultry run, so you have options. You can also fasten/daisy chain one hose to the next if a 100 ft hose isn't enough.
I know, I am getting a couple now, while I am thinking of it!

@BlueBaby How many chickens do you have?? It seems like you have a ton!
LOL, I have her beat hands down.

Let's see

128 less than 4 weeks old

26 less than 8 weeks old
48 layers and roo's
a hatch that is ongoing that I have taken out 6 so far out of the 18 that made it to lockdown

and 5 under a broody that should hatch in the next day or so

and a hatch of shipped eggs next week, but I only expect 2 to make it to lockdown out of 24 sadly.

I have 10 chickens, nods head in affirmative

I think that the price will go up as it get's warmer and there's more demand for them.
The site said they are in stock in the Prescott store, it is not hot here, YET! 78 yesterday. Pre-mowing the grass yesterday.

My whole backyard would probably have coops and chicken's in all of them if my DH would let me. Maybe some day. His kidney's are going bad on him, and there's no way to reverse that. His Dr. said that all they can do is try to maintain it the best they can.

Sorry to hear that.
