Arizona Chickens

@Geckolady How is Mari doing today? Did you get her to eat and drink?
I put a jar lid of mash in front of her this morning. It doesn't look like she ate any. She might be getting off the nest to eat when I'm not around. I sure do hope so.

She is still on that nest and guarding those eggs. You know how sports teams are named after intimidating animals, like lions and cougars and such? Well, somebody needs to name a sports team The Broody Hens.

:lau Well, you said that you wanted broody hen's. Isn't that why you got those 2 Silver Grey Dorking girl's from me?

The barred Holland rooster I have here is a pretty good boy. He had some string tangled around his feet so I showed him some food that he wanted and he let me pick him up and takeoff the string. That’s a good rooster!
but you are the chicken whisperer so most of the credit goes to you!

I would cook an egg for her, and serve it. That is one thing hard for the hens to resist in my experience. If you by chance have some canned cat food,,,,, try giving her a spoon of it.

I have canned dog food. In the morning I'll give it a try.
