Arizona Chickens

Hibernating due to the cold. LOL. Actually I have been packing. I have 8 days left before the move
I don't have time to hibernate. I'm animal sitting for the neighbor's, plus keeping up with my flock, and doing this hatching. My DH decided to get Panda Express tonight, so at least I didn't have to worry about dinner. I guess that we have another storm coming in again.

yes, another storm. I might get some snow mixed in but mostly more rain.

I can see snow in the hills and mountains but our light dusting a couple days ago melted before noon. Next storm might have more snow but don't know if it will get to me at 4675' elev and 10 miles north of Prescott Airport.

Ground is soft and soaked by recent rains/snow - 1.5" ! I'm taking care of neighbor's cats (1 indoor, many outdors). I'm putting together seed order also.

Staying cozy after yesterday’s storm. We got a few inches of snow at 5,000 ft elevation. Sunny day again so solar is up and running , chickens are cozy in their coop, and we got some puppies to be our chicken and kiddo guardians.

They are an Akbash/ Pyrenees mix and raised with chicks/ chickens so no worries about them eating mine ❤️
