Arizona Chickens

I woke up this morning to 9 inches of snow. it is still snowing at the rate of an inch an hour. The snow is supposed to move out of here by noon.
Yes, it snow's over there in Kansas. I lived in Wichita before I moved here to AZ. I really don't miss having to shovel out the snow. It get's pretty windy over there too, and tornado's are not uncommon.

@springvalley123 Did your new chick's get delivered yet? What breed or breed's did you buy?
yes, they arrived, I had posted another thread because I was worried about the routing. I ordered from Ideal in Texas thinking it'd be a shorter journey, but it took an extra day. Chicks from Iowa arrived on time, but not texas!
I ordered a rainbow assortment (all colors of eggs), and a hatchery assortment, all straight run.
So, I have one naked neck, I think a brown leghorn, possibly a silver wyandotte, something with silver down instead of yellow (mostly a black bird). No feathered feet.
One bird is still in the box with food & water. They trampled it, but it was still alive. I tried to put it back with the others but they trampled it again. But the others should make it.

Here's the post from when I saw the box go to Austin and sit:

I hope that the one that had been trampled make's it. Have you given it a drink with some vitamin's and electrolyte's in it?

yes, at least sugar water, coconut oil on the beak and egg yolk. it's really weak, I almost thought it was dead at first and just a bit ago not looking good. I've never had one look like that and still be alive. fingers crossed...

That's a lot of food missing from our grocery stores!
Yes, it is. I bought a 50-pound bag of mixed scratch today, and it had mostly corn in it this time. I also bought three 50-pound bag's of pellet's for the mixed flock of mixed ages and the duck's. The price has gone up again.
