Hope everyone's doing OK, out hosing down their birds! It's 103 here, though only a little above the forecast. I had a minor adjustment to make to my chest freezer, whose main purpose is to hold the 6, 2-liter ice jugs and 4 (soon 6) blue bunny ice cream container ice blocks. The MM marans hens are doing OK with water hourly to stand in, and the babies have the ice jugs. Both have misters if they'd use them though.

Hope y’all are well and your flocks are doing ok in the heat. My crew has a new pool. Instead of cutting the sides off completely we cut 2 doors on opposite sides with a lip low enough for them to step over. In an hour or so I’ll take them a block of ice and put some in their water buckets as well.

The problem with freezer's is that every time you fill up one of them, then you decide that you need another one.
