Thankfully it's wasn't raining on the twisty, hilly parts of the trip.

The girls seem fine but confused by the grass. They even gave me an egg this morning. Right in the middle of the run. Lol

I have fake egg's in my nesting boxes, so maybe they were confused over there of where to put the egg's at?

Probably. I don't have fake eggs but I have a couple of golf balls. I'll put them out later.

I had to use those ceramic white fake egg's, so that I could tell easily when a real (brown) egg would appear in the nest boxes. It was easier for me to buy the color that my girl's don't lay.

Now's the time to be trying to save some. The monsoon won't last forever. Maybe in the meantime you could maybe set out some bucket's to catch some? Then you can pour what's in each bucket into just one.

The ground soaked all of it up, even when we had 2” in a short period of time. Even though the road down the way was flooded nothing flowed out of the yard. Soil improvement has definitely helped.

Well, it look's like my cockerel has figured out exactly what to do with the girl's now. I ran a small test batch in the incubator, and I candled them last night seeing the beginning of growth in each of them. So, now I have my own fertile egg's.
