Arizona Chickens

IDK if its the SD toad but I kinda doubt it. We are dry but maybe above the elevation of most large SD cacti except prickly pear and some yucca and jumping cholla. I'll have to look into that. I know hens have eaten at least one with no ill effects.
The skin on pretty much all frogs, and toads can be toxic. Some to more degree than others. Including the frogs people eat. (frog legs). You never see a gravy from frog skins at the restaurants.
But frogs are not toxic to all animals/birds. Storks make a diet of frogs.

I'm pretty sure that they remove the skin before they cook them.
