Arizona Chickens

After I dust out cobwebs inside the house every week - I have to go dust them off the outside of the house too. We have a lot of Black Widows and Daddie Long Legs, but I've seen another kind lately with a red spot that is not a Black Widow.

I also need to put it on the schedule to dust cobwebs from inside coops and greenhouse. I usually don't have my swiffer out there with me.

Does it look anything like this?

It's been a while since I've posted here, I was curious if your flocks here in AZ have started their fall molt yet and if not when do they typically start? Mine haven't started yet and this fall will be their first molt, I expect it can start any time now and being that we're all in the same part of the world I assume most birds will molt around the same timeframe with the change in season.

Mine already started molting about a month ago. Every Sunday I have been mixing in a few chopped up hard boiled egg's into the wet feed to give them some extra protein to help them grow those feather's back quicker.

I've been finding lots of these around my yard, they are western spotted orb weaver spiders. They just appeared one weekend in August after a storm. They are harmless but larger than black widows and make huge webs, here's one in my garden

I asked my husband to remove the majority of them cause they kept spinning webs out in the walkway but this one I've left alone cause it's stayed in the back corner of my garden where I cant get to and it's eating lots of flies.
