Arizona Chickens

@BlueBaby
Thank you! I actually have a pair of porcelain d'uccles... they're pretty birds, but I'm more of an oegb lover. I just came in from looking at my birds and I'm confused because I see black and white tips. So I just posted to the genetics forum to try to make sure I'm not misunderstanding something. Genetics aren't my strong suit but I'm learning...just need to make sure I'm not getting it wrong, heh.

I just now unburied myself from looking at all of the stuff there at that link that I gave you. I had to bookmark it.

Got my answer.... Isabel to spangled should produce porcelain. The Millie's and oegb spangled are both created from mottling rather then spangled so just a different base color. Not first generation but over time. ❤️
That's good new's for you! I guess that you'd better start getting busy with all of that then. ;)

I seen the hawk a couple times today while I was out there pulling up weed's eyeballing my flock in the pen. I talked to my neighbor across the street and found out that there are 2 hawk's, not just one hawk. The lady said that she went out to her back yard and seen one of the hawk's sitting on top of her coop one day and chased it off. Meanwhile another lady that lives next door to her had all of her flock killed by the hawk's already, as she free-ranged her's.

One of my 5 pullets seems to be either beginning to moult or is getting picked on??
Can anyone tell? Is this something to be concerned about?

I see a lot of new pin feathers. My pullets, who hatched 3/8/22, hardly molted--a few not at all, and two lost about 5-10 feathers each. Not the full molt, due to their spring-time hatch.
