Arizona Chickens

Here's something funny and might make you spit on your computer screen. While we were at the IHOP last night, I showed the waitress that always seems to be working when we go there the picture of my flock that I took the other day. She asked me why I had so many rooster's. She said because they all had red comb's that they had to be rooster's. Now you know that IHOP serves breakfast all day long. So I think that it's pretty good that all of my roosters except for one does lay egg's. Here is the picture that I showed her:
Lol! Well the woke culture keeps insisting men can get pregnant. Guess that proves it, lol! Your roos lay eggs! :gig

Loving this weather. Sat outside with the chickens this afternoon.

(These pics are just for fun, from a couple days ago.) The 3 Bielefelders from BlueBaby are on the left.

Is Lucky breeding your 2 other hen's? It look's like saddle wear on the 2 in the front on the right side in that first picture.

Our regular good quality dog food at Tractor Supply was over $3 / lb. I told DH we are going to just buy the cheapest meat at grocery store to feed us and the dogs. This week it is chicken at 97 CENTS / lb. at Safeway. I just chopped it all up from yesterdays crockpot and started a new crockpot full of chicken. I'll start mixing parts for the dogs in with the broth to the dog food to get them used to something new starting today. I paid less than the cost of one bag of dog food on all the sale items I stocked up at Safeway in last 2 days.

It sound's like you need to do a hatch and get some more boy's for that crockpot.
