Arizona Chickens

I had a KEBONNIXS 12 Egg Incubator with Humidity Display, Egg Candler, Automatic Egg Turner, for Hatching Chickens that I sold last year as I usually do larger batches of eggs then just 12. I now use the Nurture Rite 360 and have 2 of those.

Oh dang okay! I'll have to see what my budget is! This looks amazing too  I definitely want one that turns the eggs. I never knew they needed turned so much.

When i was a lot younger and lived in California, I used to hatch eggs in my oven. It was a gas oven with a pilot light. I'd put a small bowl of water into the oven and just leave them in there, turning the eggs about three times a day. I got a bunch of healthy little ones from it though!

Now i wish i had a gas oven again and not an electric...

They want all gas stoves and anything else that run's on any type of gas to be done away with, so that wouldn't work for you in the future.

Yeah I know.. There is going to be an extra tax from what i read if you have a gas oven. That or they want to do where they give you so many dollars off to go buy an electric one as soon as possible.

I just miss the way the gave oven/stove was. I was a lot more confident using it then the electric one. The electric one makes me nervous because my burners don't always turn red to indicate it's hot nor does it radiate heat well. I'm afraid to go in one day after someone else cooked and grab one of my cast iron pans only to find out the fun way that it is still hot as fook...

Nothing like dictators telling you what you can or cannot have, huh?

For reals though... It's only getting worse. With all these bans on everything that has to do with nothing they can control or SHOULD control.. it will just become more and more taken away from everyone and a lot more increase in costs for everything.

Too bad that we can't ban the bans.

I was following a thread a while ago where the incubator was a crock pot filled with water. The water was covered with a plastic sheet, and eggs were placed on top, then covered with a cloth, and then with the pot cover. Easy to do small batches that way. You would need a good thermometer to set up the correct temperature. You would also need a good dimmer switch to reduce the crock pot temperature to where it need to be. 100°F.
I currently use a similar setup to provide my chickens liquid water in their winter housing. When temps drop below freezing, inside the garage loft, the water does not freeze.
If you need more info on making a dimmer switch control, to control a crockpot temperature, I can help you out.
I have a Home setup when I make cheese in my Crockpot on kitchen counter.
