Anybody ever get "rough" eggs? One of my Easter Eggers will often lay an egg that is textured/bumpy/rough on one end. The pic hopefully shows it. It's not just speckled but bumpy. Is that OK for her?

Was she in the water and got her butt wet?

Edited to add that when I enlarged the picture to get a better look at the egg, I noticed a lighter color at the smaller end. That lead me to say what I did.

Just excess calcium. If it's not crazy bumpy and the rest of the hens aren't bumpy then no need to change diet or anything.

No. I had just washed the eggs to stick in fridge. (My skelter was full.) I can feel the bumps when I'm washing them.

Thanks. Funny because I feed all-flock, not layer feed. They have access to Oyster shell. I thought they self-regulated calcium as needed.
My Easter egger does too!
That makes me feel better.
