Arizona Chickens

My tiny baby be kicking the other eggs all over trying to walk in there but still being unsteady on it’s feet. But it also walks towards where it can hear my voice. The power of talking to my eggs every single day 🥰🥰
Congrats' on the hatchling! So it hatched from one of my next door neighbor's egg's that has the naked neck hen's with my Bielefelder rooster over them. Anything more happening with those other egg's in there? When that chick is dry, it can be moved down into the brooder. Then it won't be kicking the other egg's around.

Hahahaha that chick is a little rugby player lemme tell you! It’s already trying to eat the mesh in the bottom of the incubator too!

Ok, so if the egg had a "B" on it, then by that lighter coloring that it has, it is a boy. The girl's that hatch from the "B" eggs are darker colored, and will have the "V" shape on the head and look more chipmunk coloring on the back's.

So I have a baby boy since it's so golden and light? WELL now to name my little one as soon as it fluffs up more. It is dying to get out that incubator though LOL

Does anyone need some hatching eggs? I have 2 dozen pure Bielfelder ones, and 1 dozen Bielefelder/Naked Neck mixed ones available. Your choice or mix and match @ $10.00 a dozen.
We may be coming up for two dozen when we find out how many little ones we have in the end! I want one of each if we do that though hahaha. I absolutely love both breeds you have brought up. Your girls at your neighbor's house are just so cute and sweet, and this little Rugby player has caught the hearts of many! So we are going to settle pretty much on those two breeds and maybe EE's

Yes, when you hatch them yourself they definatly pull the string's of your heart.

@CaroleW How is your broody hatching coming along?
She broke as soon as I made her a nice broody condo. And I haven't started up the incubator yet for my next hatch since I'm juggling getting ready for a May 20 plant sale (which will probably run until early June on weekends).

I think I'll wait to hatch a batch in June hoping the Beilefelder eggs are a little larger by then so I can have one hatch this summer (Bielefelders and some NN mixes). Then possibly another hatch (depends on total flock population at the time) in fall or early winter when greenhouse plants are being cleared out making room for juveniles to winter in there.
