The death count there is up to 89 now, and they are still looking for more people that are still missing. Many pet's and other animal's were burned up in that fire too. Very sad.So sad what happened there. Homes, jobs... everything gone. The largest banyan in the US was one of the casualties. It covered an entire city block, rough 2/3rds of an acre and was 60 feet high. Planted in 1843?...or there abouts. It had 47 main trunks....on one tree.
I know it's nothing compared to the human loss...it just kind of symbolizes the scale of what happened there to me.
