Arizona Chickens

anybody in Phoenix or Yuma keep Easter eggers? This summer was fatal for 2 of 3 of ours.
I have 3 EE's. (Just west of Phoenix) They were barely laying any eggs for a while in this heat... or I assumed it was from the heat. Then I realized they were molting. Maybe a combo of the heat and molting decreased their egg production but they seem ok in the heat. I get just 1 EE egg per day even though I have 3 EE hens.

Mesa, off Power and Brown Road.
Always check the map before heading out. The link on the website loads better than using it from here.
Bring your share and of they are seeds, please put in the book box, we are expecting rain in Arizona.

@Happy Novogens are you getting rain over there yet?
Nope. 🙁

It's certainly been overcast and the wind is just crazy right now. Once or twice we had a slight bit of spitting, but that's it.

I put a bucket under the gutter spout in anticipation but it blew away, lol! The wind is so strong, I'm not letting the flock out this evening. They can barely stand against it.

How about you?

Nothing here yesterday nor today at all but the wind. Friday just a couple of light sprinkles.

Took care of the overgrown weeds in the dog's section of the yard and used the wind to help us move them into a pile. The flock is doing ok.

The big patch of Aloe Vera by the back porch has a bunch of it dieing.
