I have lot's of empty egg cartons if someone needs any. I have more then enough for myself. A friend sent me home from her place tonight with even more. I never turn down empty egg cartons that they save for me incase someone else needs some.

Good morning group. It's been a while since I check in on this group but wanted to say I do post in the one thread when I have a bit of time all about gardening. @free Plant N Gatden Stands Org. Our girls are getting old and not laying. I think I will be hanging up the hat on having anymore chickens. They are all 4-5 years old and on strike for the last few month's. I will miss the blue eggs from our Isbar. We have had a scare with a mountain lion sighting in our neighborhood and this Bob cat on our back wall. So of course after hearing from a neighbor that sent me a video, I had to run out. I saw this hawk below the wall & talked to my neighbor next-door. He said he found a dead hawk the day before in his backyard. So I scooped up the hawk (it was holding a dead/eaten dove or pigeon) and took it over to Crystal's Critter Haven in Mesa and paid her to do a necropsy. She said it was not electrocution, a bullet, positioning..... but they must have had a mid air collision .. I was happy because I was sure it was a bullet. (In my mind) because 2 close to each other??? Anyho our run is secured in case your wondering but if anyone wants some hens I am in Mesa. BR, 2 Isbars, barnyard mix, EE, silver/lavender something, tehe, & a ponderosa.. I think.You must have a secure run and they are free. I don't always get notifications or check here but will try.
