Arizona Chickens

5PINKARROWS - That would be awesome. I always buy yarn, I know this is really odd. I have a bunch of hooks and some bamboo beginers needles but my kids sized hat ends up being the perfect fit for an egg. Really. I tried making one and it was too small for the baby, too big for barbie but an egg fits in it. I can do the basic stitch but that's it. I kinda want that flower popping loom they used to sell on tv in the 80's.

HAHAHAHA!!! Well, don't feel bad. My second hat was while I was about to deliver my 3rd baby. The hat fit my gigantic belly much better than the head of the 7yo I was making it for. She looked like that kid on Fat Albert.

Whoa almost 100 posts I had to read through to catch up.

turkey breeder got three of my roos today... Thankful for that.

mahalo4 picked up his eggs. Sorry I wasn't awake!

Now I'm trying to figure out how to pack eggs to send to San Diego.

Just waiting for #3 and #4 to get home and beat the storm

NoSkiveez, you probably don't want to learn knitting from me. I do two-hand european fasttrack.

I didn't believe it was really going to happen. I bet we have a whole 2 inches out there. That is the most snow I think we have seen since we moved here 7 years ago. I took pictures. I'll post a link soon. So exciting!!! My kids were flipping out!

Woke up to 6 inches of snow this morning....all animals close to the house are just fine....all of the adults are at the other side of the property, they are probably fine but I haven't made it that far yet.

How is everyone elses weather today?

No snow here in the center of Tucson. The rain has been dripping down most of the night, but I don't think it has added up to much. I'm not looking forward to dragging out all the plant covers again to prepare for the cold tonight. I had hoped we were done with this for the winter. Good thing I didn't remove all of the plastic in the coop yet.

tofuranch, I always remembered of pic you posted of snow covered coops. At least I think it was you.
