You could borrow mine ... just if we got tortoise eggs we might be in a bind (we are hoping for some this year). Mine also needs a turner at some point if we are going to do eggs - LOL!

so i just spent most of the day with the twins going door to door with a wagon full of girl scout cookies

they are too young to sell in front of grocery stores so this is the only way to earn that extra money for the troop.

and earn it they did today. my two and another little girl in the troop have been working their tails off. they should sleep well tonight. i think i will fall asleep on the couch with a box of thin mints.

My daughter and I stood in front of Fry's today for 4 hours selling. Cookies are kicking my butt this year! Not only am I the troop leader, I'm also the 'cookie mom'. Here's to selling that laaaast box. One more 'booth' should do it for us.

Gotta add, my girls earned the Bronze Award as Juniors two years ago, and are now wrapping up the requirements for the Silver Award. They are looking toward the Gold, too. IF they accomplish all three, they will be the only girls EVER in our area to do it.

I have recieved my second order of chickens and expect my last order next wk.Back In Dec. I registered here and tried to get eggs or chicks,but it seemed that everyone was having one of those years.I have been reading and things have improved for all!!Thats great and I know this is going to be a banner year for all!!

I ended up ordering the Coronations and Silver Sussex, BCM and the Lavander Orpingtons.The Lavanders will be here this next wk
Never thought I would be this worried about having any animals shipped but this last wk has been fun!!I haven't lost any chicks yet and it doesn't look like I will lose any
I do need to build a few more coops(yes I am infected..please step back..) I have the room out here for more and do plan on having some of the smaller ducks(wood and Teal).I want to thank everyone indirectly for all the help I have found on BYC..

mclevinson I have an incubator(still air with turner) that I will not be using(maybe never I have one that I am building) Hate to have It sit and do nothing.. If you want to use it you are more than welcome to!...

1 EE roo.

Wed they will go to The Feed store... *either the barn or Pratts.

All of my extra FBCM pullets have been sold.

I got 7 Ameraucana eggs today!

I'll be having enough for a decent hatch for Easter... I HOPE!
