I love using power tools...I have a bunch that are my own. It helps that I live on 10 arces so I have to have my own

I have a rotozip that I still need to learn.

pastrymama-- CONGRATS!!! How exciting! I know you said what breeds you hatched, but I can't remember.

mclevinson-- I have no idea what a rotozip is, and I am perfectly happy in my ignorance. I am so overwhelmed with all the things I want to do and the incredibly short days that I can't even begin to think of other things to add. You have fun with that, though!

I have no idea what kind of silkie he is.
He is just finding his crow. Sounds like he is gargling with Scope.

why are you selling your turkeys?

to have the room to raise chickens
is the reason i am selling them
i hope the people that buy them take
good care of them, i have invested
alot into having these animals in excellent condition
my parents said rather than building another
chicken coop we should sell some turkeys
last year when my family got together
for a party my parents decided to cook
a turkey but it was just sad remembering
when i raise it from one day old
and then to have to eat the turkey
for dinner was just sad for me

The Magnificiant Seven Chicks are my backyard special! They are all BA roo, 3 were delaware hens, one LF white cochin, 2 EE (one lays blue one lays green) and one SS. No, I can't tell roos from pullets, they just hatched yesterday morning! But I can tell which were the hens. One of them has muffs and a beard.

Bob's Henhouse :

ca, have any llamas for sale?

What do you do with a llama, or what do you get from a llama? I heard donkeys would chase off coyotes as well, but don't really need a donkey either.

lamas have fiber that you can shear and process. Don't lay eggs though

. They are super simple to keep. Need a couple of shots a year and eat hay. Problem is you need at least two because they are very social animals. And not all LLamas are good protectors. But google it and you can read really amazing stories. I can't sell you our two because my better half wants to train them for backpacking. I would be in trouble... Llamas were bread for protection, packing, and fiber.
