Arizona Chickens

hi everyone, i've been fighting with a cold all week (i work at an elementary and get more sick now then ever before!!) can you believe my very best friend suggested i'm sick all the time because of my chickens? i was so upset about that and told her so - she never supported my chicken fever and now i dont think she'll ever talk about them again, lol.
i am wondering if anyone from phoenix metro area has any fertile eggs i could buy. mixed breeds are ok but pure is better. looking for a few EE eggs also. not too many on cl this time of year.
i loaned my incubator to a (different) friend who i gave chicks to last month. i just want them to have a better hatch rate than they would with trader joe eggs. he's so funny. i gave them chicks, then a few weeks later they bought more at a feed store. he wanted to get more today but his wife convinced him not to since he's going to incubate.
if you have any please pm me with price and location, i'll be on and off byc all day. thanks!!

I have nothing but caliche, and I don't think sand would do much with that much water, because the people who built the houses in my neighborhood built too fast and didn't consider monsoons. I just let the water dry on its own, then later on in the year, I sold the girls to a friend of my mom's because I wanted chickens that I could show. I ended up putting a whole bunch of dirt in my yard to level it, then I dug a shallow trench around the house to the street, and that works okay for now

That works, that caliche can be as hard as 9,000 psi, on a project the company I worked for ran into just that. They couldn't dinimite it, location problems. Caliche can be almost anything, in layers, deep or shallow. It is lime/calcium clay and sand tempered by time. Nasty stuff.

That's my big sister, no option, family. I have been sick a lot, I know the reasons, not going into it. But I am working at getting healthy again. I once told her my elbow was hurting, she insisted for months I had fiber myalgia, I told her at the time I really waked my elbow on a door jam. Then for weeks it didn't hurt. When I told her I was trying test a theory of physics, she didn't get it.

Still looking for a Wyandotte, any color.

I PM you. My phone kept on saying"sending"
No idea if it went thru??
We have a Partridge silky roo, and I believe our golden sex-link is laying the brown eggs.
Mutts. We are in Tempe . She just started laying Christmas Eve. So I have about five eggs. If you did not receive your private message let me know.

On another note. Our Millie Fluer is missing a chunk of feathers under her beak/ neck. It's about the size of a dime to a nickel. Anybody have a clue what that would be? I did look for mites saw nothing.
