Arizona Chickens

Thanks, I saw chicken, meats, offal, organ meats. I have been lucky and have meet people from all over the world, been introduced to what we are missing. On the other hand the offal we eat in this country is becoming less popular. Finding good chicken liver is on, most chicken livers are fatty and oversized in our production chickens. We all know here at BYC just how abused they are, they are all very sick birds. Fatty harts and livers alone with the chicken meat just dose not taste as it should. What I am trying to get to, can you give offal to your chickens or is it to fatty for them? I used to eat a lot of livers, now seldom.

You are kidding! Surely that is only if you're selling eggs as a business or something?
[/quote yes, of course.. That is why we bought extra chicks.. For their larger egg size & production..
We have enough neighbors interested in purchasing them.. We will need to show an add as proff.. However
Tax right off. Even if it is a loss I think it is worth it.. Remember the add someone posted up here about the Goverment encouraging us to
have our own chickens??? I might of saved the add I will look. If I don't find it I hope who ever posted will re-post.. Love that add..
Check into selling at or to the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings at Warner & McClintock

That was quick with Craigslist. Placed ad last night for my silkie boys and had a response. They saw a silkie at Pratts but it wasn't for sale. The wife had wanted silkies for Christmas.

The family loved the boys and they also asked if they could have their sister. I let them have her as well. The three of them are very attached. They will be heading up to Utah to their farm with plenty room to play. I am sad but they will have a good home.
