Arizona Chickens

Here's another update!

Maizee and Rosie are laying an egg each, every day now! (We haven't eaten any yet... I still have to take pictures!)

The little chickies are getting big! They are now 8 weeks old.

I'm looking for a chicken harness! Does anyone know of any for sale?

Do you already know and this is a quiz?
I would guess you have 1 or 2 BR cockerels because of their light color and one NH cockerel because of it's tail and stance. I've never had NHs, though so it's a very uneducated guess.

My girls are almost 11 or 12 weeks, I can't remember. Are they slow learners?

My first little flock didn't roost until they were 12+ weeks... they preferred to all sleep together, squeezing into nesting boxes. It was pretty funny. Then a couple started roosting right above them and eventually they all went to the roosts. I also use 2x4's with the 4 side being what they roost on. I did it that way so that in the cold winters we have, they can lay on their feet and cover them completely.

I will share a couple pics each day of my new babies that I will be eventually adding to my current flock. Here's the first 3, and some of the youngest...

This is my husband's baby that he named Adele - it was a consolation chick after he had to cull all the BA's we had before since they all turned out to be roos.

I have no idea, but I think you are correct. That was my line of thinking as well... also I'm pretty sure the sex-link is a pullet
